Composite materials have a non-uniform and anisotropic layered composite structure, so the cutting of composite materials is a thorny problem in processing. Due to the inconsistent thermal melting point of the materials in the composite layer, it is obviously not suitable to use thermal cutting. The traditional processing method generally uses mechanical cutting, that is, cutting with a grinding wheel and a saw blade. This method is prone to two kinds of defects: one is cut damage, that is, cut delamination, tearing, burrs, wire drawing, etc. are generated near the edge of the cut. Although laser can be used to cut some composite materials, laser cutting will debond the fibers in the heat-affected zone from the matrix, causing the material to coking and thermal cracking. The width of the incision is uneven. Local damage causes performance degradation.
