Aircraft parts cutting and aircraft interior production cutting
The production process of aircraft is more complicated and strict. First of all, the interiors on the aircraft require light quality and high sealing performance. The production of aircraft interiors cannot be separated from the waterjet cutting process. Any parts on the aircraft require waterjet cutting. The waterjet robot cutting system for cutting aircraft interiors is generally large. For example, the robotic waterjet cutting equipment cuts the ceiling and side panels on the aircraft. In many cases, a whole composite board is required, which requires the use of multiple robots to form a straight line. In the way of placement, the cutting coverage area of each robot is about 3m, and there are as many as a dozen robots in a waterjet cutting production line. From this point, it can be seen that the cost of aircraft is very high.
The light-weight and high-hardness aluminum alloy and other alloy materials on airplanes are inseparable from waterjet cutting in the manufacturing process of these parts. Therefore, the waterjet cutting process can be selected for the cutting of aircraft parts, which is often considered by engineers.
